The Vikings - Membership Information

You can either join the Vikings as an individual (Provincial member) or join one of the many groups across the country. For a full list of groups and contacts please see the society website at www.vikingsonline.org.uk. You will find that a willingness to travel and the facilities to do so will prove invaluable.

Adult membership of Manareafan will cost you £22.50 for the first year, and £17.50 each year thereafter. Junior (below 18 years) costs £0.50, but will have to be accompanied by an adult member at the events.

What do you get for your money? Well, not only entrance, but full participation in around eight major re-enactment and numerous other group events throughout the year. The chance to fight all evening in settings such as Kenilworth Castle, then settle down around a fire with a bottle of mead. To be able to have interesting archaeological 'discussions' with like minded people. To be able to get away from the twentieth century and have fun. Plus you have the added bonus of the occasional television and film work.
